Portraits Painted from Photographs

A hand painted portrait has more soul and warmth than a framed photo or print. Put a picture on your wall that you will always look at and smile. Use the image of your children, family, friends, pets, horse, wedding, graduations, anniversaries, even your house, home, yacht or car can be painted. We can turn any photo or photos into a magnificent heirloom quality portrait. Our professional portrait artists will turn a great photo into a fantastic oil painting.

You choose any Background for your Painting. You can ask for some elements to be deleted or changed at no extra charge. You decide the size of your Painting. You select one Photo, or many Photo's. We can even turn old black and white photos into colour portraits.

It is important to start with a good quality photo. If you have any other similar photos of the subjects they can help the artist. Any background,  changes in clothes or additions of people to the portrait require photos from a compatible angle or pose. You can order through the website by clicking on the product images below. Include your instructions in the order comments. The email your photo(s) to us.  It takes three to four weeks to paint the portrait and for the paint to dry sufficiently, we then email you a high resolution photo of your painting for you to review. If you want any changes to the painting (colours, change in details etc.) then we are happy to do these, oil paintings are easy to update. Each round of changes takes about a week. When you are completely happy we frame if required and send the painting to you by courier. You should allow five to seven weeks in total.
